I worked with Clare during two of her events at University hosted by the group Good Egg Events (Cirque De Monstres & Scambled). I had so much fun with both and was allowed free artistic reign; the team organised their time and efforts well, both events being pulled off successfully.
After this, Clare helped with my own performance (Multivax) as part of the company of actors/musicians/artists in performance, creating an immersive, storytelling experience and was a valued member of the on the day team. Clare’s hard work in organising and structuring the events made good use of all of our time and efforts, which all paid off as the events were put into place. She was happy to help myself and any of the team, walking us through things easily and with planning and understanding when it came to where, who and what would be happening.
I would happily work with Clare again, and hope that more events come from herself and the Good Egg Team providing events which are quirky and well executed.
If I were to assign Clare to a set of Belbin’s team roles I would describe her as first as a Shaper, secondly as a Plant and thirdly as a Team Worker.
Having worked alongside her on two undergraduate event projects, I know Clare to be an individual quick to accept and tackle any problems that arise in a logical and effective way. Never one to ask anybody to carry out tasks she would not do herself, Clare is a reliable part of any team with a cool-head and creative mind.
Whilst Clare is both co-operative and inventive in the planning stages of an event she really thrives for the pressure of the live event day where she is keen to complete any task in a quick yet thorough manner. I have found Clare to be a particular asset on these occasions and is someone I would happily work alongside again in future.
