Cirque De Monstres
Cirque De Monstres was a circus themed evening which included immersive theatre, a live band and circus skill performers to create an evening of whimsical entertainment. The event was aimed at students due to the location and timing, bringing a unique experience to the attendees as they journeyed through a tale of the Circus Master performed by Ficklesprink Theatre Company and accompanied by the Roustabouts, a local band.

Cirque was created by myself and a team of three other students, each of us working together in different roles. Personally, I was involved with finding artists to be involved in different areas of the event, liaising with each group to ensure that all parties would be present and briefed throughout the event process.
On the day, the event sold out, and we received very positive feedback regarding different aspects of the event varying from the fluidity of the event, suitability of the artists to the overall impact with 74% if attendees surveyed rating it 5/5. During the process I learnt the importance of getting all involved parties into a meeting early on in the planning which improved my communication and organisation throughout the duration.
