Bristol Jazz and Blues festival was started in 2012, the team behind “dedicated to providing a high calibre festival dedicated to Jazz and Blues”. The three-day festival mixes live music with talks, exhibitions and stalls however during my time at the festival I was working in the set-up and stewarding of a Photography Exhibition of Jazz Photographer David Sinclair.

During my time on this event, I was mainly either in the exhibition room or in the surrounding areas flyering and publicising. Whilst in this role I was working for a family member of the artist, meaning that I was not part of the official event team however from this I was able to observe the workings of the main event team whilst also gaining my own unique experience of the festival from behind the exhibit walls.
